Sue Gray’s Official Partygate Report is an unofficial satirical parody of the British Government’s ‘Investigation Into ‘Alleged Gatherings On Government Premises During COVID Restrictions‘, an investigation into whether the British Government held parties in Government buildings during periods of National Lockdown. While the subject sounds like it was already a piece of political satire, it wasn’t.
The piece is a fully illustrated, 44-page zine available digitally (for free) and in print (for a small fee). Produced by Henry Hardwicke.

Get The Party Started
Join the Prime Minister Boris Johnson, Sue Gray and the Party Animals for a night to remember at No10 Downing Street. The Prime Minister has organised a genre-defining Murder Mystery Party titled, ‘The Case of the Forbidden Jamborees‘.
Guests are tasked with discovering whether any parties have occurred on Government premises during national COVID restrictions.

But not everything is as it seems. Beneath it all is a Soviet plot to discover Ministers’ party preferences and take down the British Government. Will Boris Johnson discover the truth, or will the Party Animals doom Britain to four-day working weeks, nationalised critical infrastructure and universal basic income?
The report is prefaced with a psychological profile of Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, inspired by JG Ballard’s landmark satirical pamphlet, ‘Why I Want To Fuck Ronald Reagan’.

What Is Sue Gray’s Official Partygate Report?
Sue Gray’s Official Partygate Report is an unofficial slice of British political satire, delivered over 44 crudely illustrated pages of mayhem. Produced in February 2022, it’s an extensive and arguably misguided attempt to parody the British Government’s actual report, the ‘Investigation Into ‘Alleged Gatherings On Government Premises During COVID Restrictions‘.
Unlike Joe Lycett’s fake executive summary, this report presents the full satirical hog. Uncover findings on exactly what a party is, a game of Cluedo: Downing Street Special Edition, socially-distanced dance moves, the full, uncensored conga line of events and way, way more.
